People often ask why we moved into Bride. Besides the obvious answer, which is, Isabella and I both struggled to find our own bridal gowns, so designed our own, loved them and so thought, lets help a sister (or two) out!… I try to explain, it wasn’t so much that we moved into Bride, so much as Bride moved into us.
You see, brides were starting to wear our luxe-lace whites on their special day long before we started dream up custom designed lace, hand embellishments and flowing, long hem-lines… We saw brides post pictures of our Woodstock, Moonchild and Fleetwood Maxis and our Prairie and Rosamond lace and each luxe-lace reincarnation inspired us toward the pieces we’re designing today. Today Spell Bride is an extension of our brand, just an amplified version of it.
The campaign, shot on 35mm film by Brydie Mack was shot at a 19th Century Kasbah outside of the city of Marrakech. The tones of ochre, blush and desert sand allow the creamy whites to shine through. Just the way we like it.
The gowns will take you from sand to city, chapel to fields. Luxurious embroidered silk, signature milled lace and hand-beaded detail.
